Nerang is a suburb of the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia. The size of Nerang is approximately 45 square kilometres and includes 19 parks which represent around 26% of the total area.
Nerang is centrally located with very easy access to anywhere on the Gold Coast from the M1 & railway. Nerang also has two of the busiest arterial roads on the Gold Coast which are Nerang-Southport Road and Nerang-Broadbeach Road.
Nerang is situated just 14km west of Surfers Paradise, 73km to south of Brisbane and 30km north of the Gold Coast's Coolangatta airport
No suburb o other suburb offers such quick and easy access to all parts of the Gold Coast.
The population recorded at the last Census in 2006 was 17,061 which was up from 2001 when 16,143 people were resident in Nerang.
